Our occupational safety and health courses offer a wide variety of training in controls and best practices to eliminate or decrease injuries and illnesses at work.  Office workers, unskilled laborers, skilled technicians and professionals and management are all exposed to hazards, and all can benefit from safety training.  


BioPharma Basics
In Development -- BioPharma Basics is a 40-hour e-learning course that presents occupational hygienists and others with the basics of the BioPharma industry. Beginning with the history of pharmaceuticals, and ranging through detailed material on processes, technologies, exposure assessment, controls and safe handling, this course is a thorough introduction to the industry.

The course is a collaboration with the Occupational Hygiene Training Association (OHTA).

Fundamentals of Industrial Hygiene

Preventing Exposure to Bloodborne Pathogens at Work
This e-learning course provides the learner with the knowledge to know the risks of exposure, procedures and controls for preventing exposure, and procedures folloowing exposure to infectious materials. This course provides a Certificate of Completion. While it includes coverage of OSHA's Bloodborne Pathogens Standard (29 CFR 1910.1030) as amended pursuant to the 2000 Needlestick Safety and Prevention Act, it does not provide OSHA certification.

Preventing Valley Fever - Protect Yourself Training
This 1/2 hour online course provides workers, employers, and others who are exposed to the Valley Fever fungus with the information they need to understand what the disease is, who is susceptible, what preventative measures to take, and how early detection, diagnosis and treatment can help to mitigate the severity of the symptoms.

Preventing Workplace Violence - California Requirements for Employers
In September 2023 the State of California amended the Labor Code and Code of Civil Procedure to add requirements for employers for workplace violence prevention. This 45-minute e-learning course addresses these changes, in particular, requirements for a workplace violence prevention plan, violent incident log, and training and recordkeeping obligations.
