Cancellation, Transfer, and Refund Policy

All cancellations, transfers, or refunds must be requested in writing and confirmed by Phylmar Academy.

Online Training

Online Course Cancellations/Refunds

All of our online courses come with a full money back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with one of our courses, you can request a full refund.  The request must be made before the certificate is issued.  Once the certificate is issued, no refunds will be made.

If you would like a refund, send us an email requesting a refund and we will credit your account. The refund excludes any course books and shipping fees once items are already shipped.

This refund offer applies up to 30 days or until the point you complete the online training course but before you receive a certificate, whichever comes first.

After the 30-day refund period, if the trainee is not going to complete their online training, the trainee or the company may request a credit that can be used in the future toward other products or services. The credit does not expire and can be transferred to other trainees. The written request for credit must be received within 12 months of enrollment.

Online Course Transfers

Trainees may transfer to another online course (or from one trainee to another) at any time before the completion of their training.  The following conditions may apply:

  • If the company has paid for the enrollment, the company must approve the transfer;
  • When transferring an online course from one trainee to another, course progress will be reset.  The replacement trainee must start the training course from the beginning;
  • If trainees transfer from a less expensive course to a more expensive course, the trainee or company will be required to pay the difference;
  • When trainees transfer to a less expensive course, the 30-day refund policy is in effect.

In-Person Training

In-Person Cancellations/Refunds

If a trainee is unable to attend a class in which they are enrolled, he/she must contact Phylmar Academy in advance to transfer or cancel the registration.

Phylmar Academy will offer refunds according to the following schedule:

Cancellation 15 or more business days before the class 80% of the registration fee may be refunded.
Cancellation 7-14 business days before the class 50% of the registration fee may be refunded.
Cancellation less than 7 days before the class and “no shows” No refund.

If course materials such as books have been sent to course participants in advance, the cost of that material will be subtracted from the refund.

In-Person Transfers

Trainees may transfer to another scheduled class, if seats are available, 7 business days or more before the start of the class at no charge.

Transfer requests received 6 business days or less before the start of the class are subject to a rescheduling fee of 10% of the tuition.

All transfers must be made in writing via email and are not considered valid unless the trainee receives written confirmation from Phylmar Academy. Without written confirmation, the trainee will be treated as a "No Show."

In-Person No Shows

Registered trainees who do not contact us in advance to cancel their registration and do not attend their scheduled class are considered “No Shows” and are not eligible for any refund.

In-Person Sessions We Cancel

Phylmar Academy reserves the right to postpone an offering 7 days prior to the course date should minimum enrollment requirements not be met. If a program is canceled, you will be notified, and you will have the option to transfer to another course, subject to payment of any higher registration fee, or have your registration fee refunded in full, less the cost of course materials sent in advance if they are not returned in the condition in which they were received. The liability of Phylmar Academy is limited to the course fee.

Blended Courses

The online and In-Person portions of a blended course will be treated as separate components of the course. Refund policies pertain to each type of component.
